Five new shows will debut on the Seven Seas Splendor. Regent Seven Seas Cruises unveils the details.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises today unveiled details of five new theatrical performances that will debut on Seven Seas Splendor when the highly anticipated luxury cruise ship is launched in February 2020.

From a duel between rock and country music genres to a story of adventure and romance, to a thriller full of intrigue, these sumptuously staged musical productions await guests during the inaugural season of Seven Seas Splendor. All are produced by Regent’s accomplished team of choreographers, scriptwriters and directors:

Bohemian Soul follows a group of bold travellers who follow the sun, bringing together a rich array of music, dance and cultural styles throughout their journey. As travellers set up their tents in Paris, the city’s young mayor finds himself attracted by a mysterious Bohemian girl and the call of the road. Bohemian Soul showcases an eclectic range of world music and dance that invites the public to adventure.

Diamond Run, featuring an international mystery man who travels the world in pursuit of an invaluable blue diamond – and the beautiful jewel thief who wants it for herself. This thrilling spy thriller features songs by Madonna, Tina Turner, Duran Duran Duran, Shirley Bassey and more.

Crossroads, halfway between Nashville and Los Angeles, is the “Crossroads Warehouse”, the site of a decades-long battle between country and rock fans. This conflict is about music as these two bands fight through the best rock and country hits.

Boogie Wonderland, New York’s most popular radio station, celebrates Disco Day! The DJ announces an extravagant one-night disco party and fashion contest at New York’s most popular nightclub. While four friends travel around the city dancing and singing the most popular disco songs, Boogie Wonderland is their story.

Divos & Divas, celebrating the best male and female singers of the past seven decades, presented by the Regent Production Cast and the Regent Signature Orchestra. The evening showcases favourite songs from the repertoires of some of the greatest singers of all time.

We have recruited some of the top and most talented musicians and performers to offer amazing, unforgettable and engaging productions to our valued guests.”

Theatre performances are presented every night in the modern Constellation Theatre of Seven Seas Splendor, two floors high. Located on Decks 4 and 5, the Constellation Theatre offers comfortable benches and chairs. The upper deck of the theatre reflects the improvements made by Seven Seas Splendor’s sister ship, Seven Seas Explorer. Glass panels surrounding the upper deck and fewer seats on the upper level on the Seven Seas Splendor provide an unobstructed view for guests.

Seven Seas Splendor Entertainment Lounges

In addition to the five new theatrical performances, Regent Seven Seas Cruises also unveiled details of four entertainment lounges in the Seven Seas Splendor today: Splendor Lounge, Observation Lounge, Meridian Lounge and the Casino. (Images are available here.) Throughout the evening, these venues will showcase resident musicians and artists, dancers, karaoke singers, games and more.

Splendor Lounge

An inviting atmosphere, quirky cocktails and soulful sounds make the Splendor Lounge a unique venue for guests who come to enjoy a meal on Deck 4. Guests can relax in plush chairs and engage in a conversation with other luxury travellers before a delicious dinner at Compass Rose. Late at night, the Splendor Lounge features a contemporary duo that performs guests’ favourite songs until late at night.

Observation Lounge

Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ ultimate lounge is enhanced on board Seven Seas Splendor™ Offering an unobstructed view from Deck 11, the serene and peaceful theme is expressed through lush tapestries inspired by the fluid shapes of the flower petals, which makes it the ideal meeting place at any time. Guests who discover the space during the day will notice that it looks like an enchanting English garden.  In the evening, the whimsical chandelier, hand-painted glass screens and the cocktail pianist enhance the elegance of the room.

Meridian Lounge

This elegant lounge on deck 5 in the middle of the ship is a showstopper, with an expansive bar serving custom cocktails. Warm lighting, comfortable seats and a refined atmosphere are part of its charm. It is the ideal place to have a drink before a show at the Constellation Theatre or to continue an evening of entertainment with performances by resident musicians playing familiar tunes and special requests.

Casino

Inspired by the most iconic gaming rooms, from Las Vegas to Monte Carlo, the Casino is a destination for all. There is a dynamic variety of games to choose from, such as blackjack, roulette and craps, as well as frequent gifts, promotions and rewards.
