Mardi Gras represents a revolutionary project for Carnival Cruise Line, which has equipped itself with a large, efficient ship and brings to the market a long list of novelties. Roughly 180 thousand tons of weight, a maximum capacity of 6,500 passengers or 5,282 passengers in double rooms with around 2,000 crew members.
The Mardi Gras will be divided into six different zones which have themed elements and spaces which host activities, events, various dining areas and shops. On the outside decks, the Madri Gras features the “Ultimate Playground”, where the first cruise ship rollercoaster will be located, named “Bolt”. And not just that: you can also enjoy a huge water park and sports center!

Nice cruise in the Caribbean
A very nice ship for Carnival Cruise Line that surely offers something new compared to its fleet. For our tastes, Mardi Gras is too big and dispersive but has very beautiful on-board venues. Some specialty restaurants are really good and very well priced. It exudes a youthful and fun atmosphere, so it is very suitable for the Caribbean.

What a ship!
Non stop action, tons of food options, incredible ship
Standard balcony room small and bathroom tiny and unusable if over 300 lbs. Cable tv dismal. Adult pool area plain.
Great deck plan for the Mardi Gras. Always something to do, listen to or play. Eye candy everywhere. Grand Central Atrium the bomb. Food, other than the pizza, is very good. My favorite ship, edging out the Symphony of the Seas. Loved the pools, especially the infinity pool. And spend the money and ride Bolt.

Awesome cruise!
Wonderful cruise ship!
Truly exceptional ship! It is giant! Beautiful clubs and open spaces, with a friendly and helpful crew. The food is excellent everywhere, and there are many specialty restaurants. Truly something innovative and different than the Carnival we are used to.
