An incredible experience on board the Celebrity Edge in Alaska

I was lucky enough to spend 8 days on board the Celebrity Edge for a cruise to Alaska, a trip I had been dreaming of for a long time. Expectations were high, and I can say without a doubt that this experience exceeded all my expectations. Embarkation was extremely well organized and, from the first moment I set foot on the Celebrity Edge, I was fascinated by the modern and elegant design of the ship. The culinary offering is simply excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Eden restaurant, with innovative dishes and an immersive atmosphere. The evening shows in the Edge theater were of the highest level. The unique and well-planned stops allowed me to explore the destination to the fullest. I took a hike to see the famous Tlingit totem poles and visited Misty Fjords National Monument. In Juneau I had the opportunity to take an unforgettable hike to the Mendenhall Glacier. The service on board was excellent. The staff was always friendly, helpful and ready to accommodate any request.

Amazing food, fantastic Entertainment, great crew and amazing ship

Only issue was getting into Victoria at 5.30pm, at that point most shops are closed.

having been on a bad cruise in Feb with MSC it was such a breath of fresh air to go on Celebrity again, only took 20 minutes from arriving at the port to getting on the ship. We ate in the main restaurants 2 nights but the other 5 nights we ate in the buffet as the food was restaurant quality anyway. I would say the buffet food on Celebrity is better than main dining on MSC. Stayed 3 days before the cruise in Seattle, then had a day at sea before arriving to Ketchikan. The whole time in Alaska was like being in a dream, with amazing scenery, lots of wildlife and great places for photos. This was by far the best cruise I have done so far.

What an incredible ship! It's a big one, but thanks to its wide windows, you can enjoy the sea everywhere. Love its pool deck.

Celebrity EDGE, una nave di rara bellezza destinata a stupire i suoi ospiti e visitatori nel tempo. Quattro le aree che definirei TOP e che mi hanno piacevolmente colpito: la piattaforma esterna Magic Carpet, elemento distintivo di questa nuova signora dei mari, il Rooftop Garden, il maestoso Grand Plaza ispirato ai grandi saloni da ballo dei transatlantici dei primi del ‘900 e l’elegante EDEN, un’area paradisiaca che invita al relax e alla tranquillità. Impressionante anche il teatro di bordo, concepito per portare l’ospite al centro dello spettacolo è attualmente uno dei più moderni mai costruiti a bordo di una nave da crociera. Da provare assolutamente!

The innovative design

Really happy to have finally discovered this new Celebrity Cruises huge ship. Nice interiors, great open deks, superb dining. A real upgrade for this cruiseline. A good cruisers has to try the Celebrity Edge!

Ambienti interni

Nave innovativa in molti aspetti, dalla tecnologia ai servizi offerti agli arredi sempre luminosi e di grandissima eleganza. Ha molti ambienti, molto diversi fra se ma sempre in armonia con lo stile complessivo della nave. Bello anche il Lido e tutti i servizi delle zone limitrofe, come anche la piscina coperta. La zona Eden è meravigliosa e invita veramente a rilassarsi e godere del mare anche se nelle zone interne nave.
