Description

It was commissioned in 1982 by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, under the name Song of America, and operated, often in the Caribbean, until 1999 when it was transferred to Sun Cruises under the name Sunbird. Since 2004 it has been chartered by Thomson Cruises who kept it, under the name Thomson Destiny, until 2012. The purchase by Louis Cruises has resulted in another name change, Louis Olympia, and finally Celestyal Olympia from 2014.
Today the ship is fairly well maintained but without a doubt it cannot compete with the most modern and avant-garde units. Nevertheless, these features could also be inviting for the cruise lovers of yesteryear, without any particular interactive attractions or extravagant entertainment.

Everything was great! The ship is super clean, the cabins are cleaned twice a day. The staff is extraordinary - helpful, friendly, hardworking, always with a smile on their faces. The food is abundant and delicious. Everything was well organized. No complaints!

Itinerario bellissimo quello offerto dal Pireo per le isole greche. Ma questo è tutto. Nave vecchia e tenuta malissimo, sporcizia e usura ovunque, disservizi in qualunque circostanza, pessima organizzazione, cucina dozzinale. Peccato, Celestyal come nuova impresa che ha rilavato la Louis, poteva decisamente partire in modo diverso.

esperienza negativa,la cabina che doveva essere matrimoniale in realtà era una doppia con 2 lettini a parete,piscina sporca e file chilometriche per l' unico ristorante a cena.Non la consiglio assolutamente per chi ama la vita di bordo.
