NCL updates health and safety protocols

As of Oct. 4, 2022, Norwegian Cruise Line‘s (NCL) new global health and safety protocols go into effect, eliminating all testing, mask and vaccination requirements against Covid-19.

Harry Sommer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Norwegian Cruise Line said, “Health and safety is always our first priority; in fact, we have been health and safety leaders since the beginning of the pandemic, many travelers have been waiting patiently to take their long-awaited vacation at sea, and we look forward to celebrating their return.”

With this relaxation, Norwegian Cruise Line will continue to follow travel guidelines as required by the destinations it visits. To learn about country-specific travel requirements, travelers can refer to www.ncl.com/travel-requirements-by-country. In addition, guests can refer to www.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/cruise-travel-documents for more information on the required travel documentation they will need for their travel with Norwegian Cruise Line. For more information, you can visit the company’s official website at www.ncl.com.

We welcome this relaxation of boarding rules due to significant and positive progress in the public health context.
