Oceania Cruises Unveils Details of the Crêperie

Oceania Cruises has revealed details of the Crêperie, a new culinary venue set to debut aboard Allura, which is scheduled to launch in July 2025.

The Crêperie, located next to Baristas, will offer a tempting selection of French crêpes, Brussels waffles, and bubble waffles, along with Italian gelato sundaes. From mid-morning to afternoon, guests will have 20 different recipes to choose from, all crafted by Oceania Cruises’ executive culinary directors and Master Chefs based in France, Alex Quaretti and Eric Barale. Signature offerings include the classic French crêpe Suzette and Brussels waffles topped with fresh banana, salted caramel sauce, and whipped cream. Alternatively, guests can personalize their choices to create their perfect sweet treat.

Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises, stated that Allura represents the next step in the evolution of Oceania Cruises and a new way to explore the world, emphasizing that food is at the core of the company’s philosophy. He also pointed out that the term “refined” doesn’t necessarily mean formal, and the new Crêperie on Allura perfectly exemplifies this idea, being a casual yet sophisticated venue. He concluded by noting that this addition further expands the onboard culinary offerings.

The Crêperie will be the 12th restaurant aboard Allura, joining fleet favorites like the Grand Dining Room, which offers a vast selection of dishes daily, including French classics by Jacques Pépin and globally inspired plates; The Terrace Café, with international cuisine and panoramic sea views; and The Bakery at Baristas, featuring French and Italian pastries, among others.

Chef Alex Quaretti expressed his excitement about the new venue, confident that guests will be delighted by the range of delicious waffles, crêpes, and myriad flavors of Italian gelato that will be served. He shared that one of his personal favorites is the French crêpe with Nutella and whipped cream. Chefs Alex and Eric are currently working hard to finalize additional menu developments specifically for Allura, as well as new culinary initiatives that will be launched across the fleet next year.

As part of the “Your World Included” program, every guest sailing with Oceania Cruises can enjoy a wide range of complimentary amenities, including dining at all specialty gourmet restaurants—Crêperie included; soft drinks, juices, specialty coffees and teas; still and sparkling Vero Water; unlimited Starlink Wi-Fi; group fitness classes; gratuities, and more.
