STC Awards 2024: Excellence in the Cruise Industry
The 18th edition of the Seatrade Cruise Awards took place during the welcome reception of Seatrade Cruise Med in Malaga, where the 2024 winners were announced.
Recognized as one of the most prestigious awards in the global cruise industry, the Seatrade Cruise Awards celebrate outstanding achievements, innovation, dedication, and excellence that continue to drive the cruise sector forward.
The winners, revealed on September 11th, were judged by a panel of 15 experts, representing leading voices from the international cruise community, including key sectors such as hospitality, marketing, and technology. The jury included a diverse range of professionals, from editors to professors, consultants to CEOs.

The esteemed awards were presented by Mary Bond, Group Director of Seatrade Cruise, who enthusiastically honored Portsmouth International Port as Port of the Year; PONANT, East Greenland Expedition as Innovative Shorex of the Year; Sourcetoad: OnDeck Mobile App as Product of the Year; Fowey Harbour as Destination of the Year; HX Foundation, Rapid Response Fund as Expedition Cruise Initiative of the Year; Carnival Corporation & plc, Women Officer Network (W.O.N.) for Investment in People; Paul Gauguin Cruises, Healthcare Partnership in French Polynesia (sponsored by Cruise Baltic) as Sustainability Initiative of the Year; Giora Israel, President of Giora Israel LLC, received the Seatrade Cruise Outstanding Achievement Award; and Marie-Caroline Laurent, Managing Director of CLIA Europe, was named Seatrade Cruise Personality of the Year. The event’s main sponsors were Oracle Hospitality and Ocean Technologies, with category sponsorship provided by Cruise Baltic, ProColombia, and V. Ships Leisure.
