MSC Cruises and LEGO: A Partnership for Families

MSC Cruises announces its partnership with LEGO, a union that promises to set new records in the family entertainment sector at sea, introducing new and unique experiences that will significantly transform the concept of a family vacation.

The largest and most innovative children’s space in the fleet will be hosted by MSC World America, a new ship set to launch in 2025. This space, called Doremiland and spanning nearly 1,000 square meters, will be the heart of entertainment designed for younger guests and will include a wide range of activities and technologically advanced facilities specifically tailored for children and teenagers.

This partnership represents a major evolution in the cruise industry, with MSC Cruises cementing its position as a leader in family entertainment. The new experiences aboard MSC World America are set to become a benchmark for the industry, offering families from all over the world the opportunity to enjoy unprecedented adventures and create cherished memories together.

One of the most anticipated innovations introduced by the partnership with LEGO is the first-ever LEGO parade at sea, which will traverse the ship, transforming it into a floating stage for an interactive and visually captivating show for passengers of all ages, offering moments of shared magic and fun. Another highlight is the LEGO Family Game Show, a family competition that will test creativity and teamwork in an exciting game setting, providing an unforgettable experience for parents and children alike.

Head of Entertainment, Steve Leatham, emphasized that the company’s goal is to give young guests the freedom to express their creativity, play, socialize, and explore with extraordinary spaces and programs. For this reason, a remarkable offering for children and families has been created with MSC World America. Senior Manager of Youth Entertainment, Matteo Mancini, also stated that they have listened to the needs of young guests from North America to design the offering for children and families, thus proposing a variety of outstanding facilities and new experiences never seen before.

In addition to the LEGO innovations, MSC World America will also feature The Harbour, an innovative outdoor park offering families a wide range of interactive activities, including the Cliffhanger, the only sea-swing ride. This space will be an ideal spot for fun and socialization, in an environment designed to meet the needs of all ages.
