Oceania Cruises: New Package with Gratuities Included

Oceania Cruises has launched a new package, now automatically including onboard gratuities in the cruise fare.

Previously, gratuities were included for guests who were travel partners, loyalty club members, or from specific regions of the world. Now, tips for cabin stewards, butlers, and dining staff will be included in the “Your World Included” package.

This new package offers a selection of always-included services for all guests worldwide. These include gratuities, gourmet dining at all specialty restaurants, soft drinks, juices, specialty coffees and teas, smoothies, artisanal ice cream, and Vero still and sparkling water. Also included are Starlink WiFi, hot and cold room service, laundry service, and group fitness classes (a selection of classes at Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center).

This initiative was born from guest feedback, highlighting the preference for including the most valued services, with gratuities being one of the top priorities.

Your Way has been the central promise of Oceania Cruises since its launch over 20 years ago. The change came in response to guest feedback, which emphasized a preference for including services valued by all rather than by a few. It’s no surprise that our guests place the highest value on complimentary specialty dining and WiFi, alongside gratuities,” said Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises. “This gives us a well-defined position in the cruise industry, offering an ultra-premium selection that provides immense value for our guests.”

The company will end its current “Simply MORE” offer in late September 2024 to make way for the new “Your World Included” package, which will be available from October 1, 2024, for all new bookings for sailings starting January 1, 2025, onwards.

On a 10-day cruise, guests will receive over $1,800 worth of always-included services per cabin compared to premium cruise lines. This amount is based on average expenses for gratuities, WiFi, soft drink packages, and specialty dining reservations.

Oceania Cruises has always been known for its warm and authentic service, which is part of the magic of sailing aboard one of its eight small, luxurious ships, with a maximum of 1,250 guests.

Guests can further customize their cruise experience with additional services such as airfare and transfers, shore excursions, and beverage packages, which can be added based on individual preferences.
