Princess Cruises Sail for Australia and New Zealand

Princess Cruises has unveiled its highly anticipated itineraries for the 2026-2027 season in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific, offering unforgettable experiences for all travelers.

The highlight of the season will be the return of the popular Circle Pacific Voyage, an epic 79-night journey aboard the Grand Princess, traversing three continents and covering over 23,600 nautical miles. The season, now available for booking, will feature three Princess ships—Royal Princess, Crown Princess, and Grand Princess—offering 42 unique itineraries and 62 departures between October 2026 and August 2027.

Travelers will explore breathtaking landscapes in Australia and New Zealand, immerse themselves in the tropical allure of the South Pacific, and experience the incredible Circle Pacific Adventure, an itinerary designed to connect travelers with local cultures and the “hidden gems” of their destinations. Terry Thornton, Chief Commercial Officer of Princess Cruises, emphasized that one of the most popular trends in tourism is the exploration of “alternative” destinations, appealing to travelers seeking authenticity and unique experiences away from traditional tourist routes. For this reason, the 2026-2027 itineraries have been designed to combine iconic destinations with lesser-known locations for a one-of-a-kind travel experience.

The October 2026 – June 2027 season offers something for every type of traveler, from short getaways to transformative cruises, with departures from five Australian ports: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth (Fremantle), and Adelaide. Highlights include 42 unique itineraries and 62 departures ranging from 2 to 79 nights. Royal Princess will be based in Sydney for the entire season, while Grand Princess will primarily sail from Brisbane and embark on the 79-night Circle Pacific Voyage. Additionally, Crown Princess will offer a 28-night round-trip cruise around Australia from Sydney. Legendary cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, and Adelaide are included in the itineraries, alongside lesser-known destinations like Broome in Western Australia, Burnie in Tasmania, Port Lincoln in South Australia, and Picton in New Zealand’s South Island. The journeys will also traverse the South Pacific, visiting destinations such as Fiji, Samoa, and Papua New Guinea.

The season’s centerpiece is the 79-night Circle Pacific Adventure, a cruise covering over 23,600 nautical miles, crossing the Equator and the International Date Line twice, with departures from Sydney, Brisbane, or Auckland. Passengers will visit 32 destinations in 13 countries, including overnight stays in Hong Kong and extended stops in Honolulu, Juneau, Los Angeles, Osaka (for Kyoto), Singapore, Suva, Tahiti (Papeete), and Victoria, BC. The itinerary also includes visits to off-the-beaten-path destinations such as Apia (Samoa), scenic cruising through College Fjord in Alaska, and unique ports in Japan like Kochi and Kagoshima. Additionally, travelers will have access to 15 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Mount Fuji in Japan and the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

The company is also offering three unique cruise and land tour combinations. The “Tropical Highlights Cruisetour” allows travelers to discover stunning landscapes such as the Great Barrier Reef and Paronella Park, featuring spectacular views of Mena Creek Falls. The “Southern Australia Cruisetour” includes Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road, Adelaide, and the pristine waters of Kangaroo Island. Finally, the “Australian Outback Cruisetour” provides the opportunity to explore two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Great Barrier Reef and the iconic Uluru in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

All Princess ships feature well-appointed cabins, world-class dining, captivating performances, award-winning casinos, luxurious spas, unique experiences, and endless activities. Regardless of the cruise chosen, Princess guarantees a premium vacation with the exclusive Princess MedallionClass experience, ensuring unparalleled service and personalization. Guests can also take advantage of inclusive packages like Princess Plus and Princess Premier, which offer services such as Wi-Fi, beverages, desserts, fitness classes, and more at up to 65% savings compared to purchasing each amenity separately.

In summary, Princess Cruises provides a unique opportunity to explore some of the world’s most extraordinary destinations, ensuring an unforgettable travel experience that combines luxury, adventure, and authenticity.
