Additionally, Quinta do Lago, with a focus on sustainability, has recently introduced Q Coffee, an innovation that blends tradition and sustainability, contributing to the resort’s sustainable food and beverage offerings. This new product is designed to become an exclusive resource for the sustainability program through eco-friendly practices, working alongside the resort’s established Q Farm. Quinta do Lago’s healthy bar, PURE Restaurant, will be the temporary location of the coffee lab until April 2025, when the newly renovated KOKO Restaurant will host Q Coffee and feature a space for roasting sessions and tastings for the community.
The resort will also manage the collection of coffee grounds, which are then composted and transported to Q Farm. By following sustainable practices, all coffee production waste is reduced and reused. Along with Q Farm, Q Coffee contributes to various sustainable practices throughout the resort. With a commitment to environmental protection, composting programs, and natural pest control methods will be implemented as part of the resort’s eco-conscious responsibility and zero-waste commitment, aiming to reduce their carbon footprint.

The new space at KOKO will host their latest coffee project, creating an area for coffee roasting, tasting sessions, and the option to purchase beans for enjoyment at home. In an elegant and airy environment, the new boutique area will transform the resort’s social setting, introducing luxury shopping and a chic, family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant and boutique will be ready for guests by April 2025.
