Four Seasons I: Successful Float Out Completed

On January 23, 2025, Fincantieri and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, as Joint Owner/Operator of Four Seasons Yachts, celebrated the float out of Four Seasons I, the first ultra-luxury ship under construction for the company.

The ceremony took place in Ancona at the Fincantieri shipyard, attended by prominent figures from the maritime and luxury industries. Among the distinguished guests were Nadim Ashi, Owner and Executive Chairman of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, and Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of Four Seasons. Reynal emphasized the strategic importance of this launch for the brand’s evolution, highlighting that the introduction of Four Seasons I marks a key milestone in the company’s growth. According to Reynal, the goal is to create a luxury ecosystem where guests can live and travel with a globally trusted and recognized brand. He further stated that entering the luxury cruise sector is a fundamental part of this expansive vision.

Nadim Ashi expressed great enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing that reaching this milestone was made possible by the dedication, commitment, and extraordinary craftsmanship of everyone involved in the creation of Four Seasons I. He described this moment as a crucial step toward the debut of a vessel that is set to redefine the concept of luxury at sea.

The ship’s float out marks the official countdown to its entry into service, scheduled for January 2026, with delivery expected by the end of 2025. In the coming months, Four Seasons I will be moved to a dry dock, where the interiors, furnishings, and finishing touches for the suites, restaurants, and common areas will be completed.

This event represents a landmark moment in the history of luxury cruising, marking Four Seasons’ entry into the cruise market and opening new horizons for the high-end segment. Four Seasons I is not just a vessel but a new frontier in ultra-luxury cruising. At 207 meters in length and with a gross tonnage of 34,000 tons, this ship is set to redefine luxury standards at sea, blending elegance, comfort, and cutting-edge technology.

One of the distinctive elements of the project is the decision to feature only suites, creating an intimate and exclusive environment for guests. The ship will offer 95 suites, each equipped with spacious terraces and custom-designed interiors, ensuring unparalleled privacy and comfort. The Funnel Suite, boasting an impressive 457 square meters, will be the pinnacle of the onboard experience, offering guests an unmatched level of luxury with breathtaking panoramic views and private spaces unlike anything else in the cruise industry.

Beyond its refined design and meticulous attention to detail, Four Seasons I also stands out for its commitment to environmental sustainability through the latest technological advancements. The cruise industry is undergoing a significant transformation, with a growing emphasis on reducing environmental impact and optimizing energy consumption. The ship will be equipped with advanced waste management systems, water-saving technologies, and emission-reduction solutions, adhering to the strictest international environmental regulations. Integrating these solutions aligns with the expectations of luxury travelers, who are increasingly conscious of the ecological responsibility of cruise operators.

With this initiative, Four Seasons Yachts aims to redefine the concept of luxury at sea, offering travel agencies, tour operators, and cruise industry professionals an exclusive product tailored to a highly discerning clientele. The main difference from traditional cruises lies in the high level of personalization: from bespoke suites to exclusive concierge services, every aspect of the journey is designed to provide maximum flexibility and comfort. Additionally, with a more intimate capacity compared to the large ocean liners, Four Seasons I will guarantee a more exclusive atmosphere and highly personalized services, meeting the standards of the ultra-luxury segment.

The float out of the ship marks the official countdown to its entry into service, scheduled for January 2026, with delivery expected by the end of 2025. In the coming months, Four Seasons I will be moved to a dry dock for the completion of its interiors, furnishings, and finishing touches across suites, restaurants, and public areas.

With the arrival of Four Seasons I, the luxury cruise industry is ushering in a new era where excellence, personalization, and sustainability will be the pillars of the guest experience.
