Crystal Cruises has announced the opening of sales, starting from August 30, 2023, for the 2025 World Cruise aboard Crystal Serenity. The 123-night journey includes visits to more than 31 countries, 62 ports, and 17 overnights with unparalleled onshore excursions, pre- and post-tours.

Departing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on January 7, 2025, the journey commences with stops in Mexico, Belize, Honduras, and Colombia. After traversing the iconic Panama Canal, Crystal Serenity will cruise along the west coast of South America, visiting Guayaquil, Lima, and Pisco. The voyage continues with exploration of the majestic Chilean fjords and a stop at the gateway to Antarctica, Ushuaia, before heading north along the South American coast for the Rio Carnival celebrations. This is followed by the thrill of African experiences, with an extensive program through Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, and Kenya. Crystal Serenity will also visit the Seychelles and the Maldives before journeying to Sri Lanka and then Mumbai with an overnight stay. Sailing westward, travelers will enjoy a visit to the iconic Valley of the Kings in Egypt and the mystical city of Petra in Jordan, before concluding the journey along the Italian and Spanish coasts, arriving in Barcelona.

This cruise will feature tailor-made extraordinary events, including:

Tango through the Ages: Guests will journey through the epochs of Argentina to witness the rise of one of the world’s most popular dance forms, with the stories of Maria Nieves Rego and Juan Carlos Copes, Argentina’s most celebrated Tango couple. Guests will also enjoy an authentic Argentine culinary experience.

An Evening with the Gods on Mount Olympus: An exclusive evening with dinner, traditional music, Greek dancers and singers, along with a reenactment of ancient Olympic games to entertain guests during the event.

Colombo by Night: Set in the heart of Sri Lanka’s capital with a view of the iconic Galle Face Green, the evening will celebrate a typical night in Colombo with the aromas, tastes, and sounds of its culture, featuring street food, signature cocktails, and a spectacular cultural performance from Sri Lanka.

Furthermore, Abercrombie & Kent will offer multi-day land excursions at an additional cost, from the Galápagos Islands and Machu Picchu to a stay at the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti and visits to the Taj Mahal and Ranthambore National Park, known for its beauty and wildlife.

In the Galápagos Islands, guests can spend the afternoon with land tortoises and sea lions, surrounded by incredible landscapes and exotic animals. In Machu Picchu, a train journey to the remarkable “lost city of the Incas” in Peru will showcase the highlights of Inca mastery, from the Temple of the Sun to hundreds of terraces and a mysterious carved stone located on a raised platform overlooking the square.

The Serengeti Experience will offer a unique wildlife reserve experience in Africa where guests can admire herds of elephants, baboons, impalas, and many other local wildlife and stop for a drink at a watering hole, all while enjoying the services of the five-star Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti.

In India, guests can immerse themselves in enchanting scenes blending history and wildlife as they discover one of the world’s wonders, the Taj Mahal, and the extraordinary Royal Bengal Tigers of Ranthambore.

With the Luxor Lights experience, guests will visit the Temple of Karnak, built over 2,000 years ago by generations of pharaohs, followed by a journey to the Luxor Temple at sunset, complete with a special dinner, a hot air balloon excursion over the skies of Luxor, and a visit to Luxor’s West Bank to see the Valley of the Kings, the Tomb of Seti I, the Tomb of Tutankhamun, and the Temple of Habu.
