NCL: Pride of America returns to service in Hawaii
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced the return to service of Pride of America, the only cruise ship to sail Hawaii all the year.
NCL‘s Pride of America, the fifteenth ship in its fleet to return to service, makes weekly seven-day round trips from Honolulu, giving guests nearly 100 hours of port and the ability to explore four islands within a week . The itinerary includes overnight stays in Maui and Kauai, allowing for more immersive experiences on land and unforgettable views of the Neapolitan coast. NCL has two remaining ships that will return to service in early May and complete the Company’s Great Cruise Comeback.
“As the only cruise company to sail all the year from Hawaii, we are thrilled to finally be back,” said Harry Sommer, president and chief executive officer of Norwegian Cruise Line. “Pride of America will once again offer fully immersive itineraries and deeply authentic experiences that support business and tourism in Hawaii, while providing travelers with everything they seek from a vacation in paradise.”
Pride of America sailed on April 9, 2022, is available for pre-order through December 2025. Weekly trips depart Honolulu every Saturday.
The redeployment of NCL‘s entire fleet continues in partnership with local governments and is driven by the Company’s strong Sail Safe Health and Safety program protocols, which requires all guests 12 years and older, as well as all crew, to must be fully vaccinated to undertake all NCL trips for the foreseeable future.
