Sailing with Variety Cruises to discover Greece
Variety Cruises is ready to start back up again and they have announced 3 new itineraries to discover Greece during the summer 2021 season.
On board one of the ships in the fleet, you’ll have the unique opportunity to experience a traditional cruise that is, however, combined with the comfort and exclusivity that only a private yacht can offer. Variety Cruises is a cruise company based in Athens, Greece and its fleet consists of 4 exclusive yachts and 8 other small cruise ships and sailing ships.
The strengths that Variety Cruises offers to its clients are the close and welcoming interactions with the crew and the opportunity to discover exclusive and reserved destinations that larger ships find it difficult to reach.
The first ship in the fleet to begin sailing will be the Galileo, a sailing ship that can accommodate up to 49 guests. It is characterized by a classic design, impressive white sails and wood paneling that immediately evokes the feeling of yachting of the past.
The first departure is scheduled for May 14, 2021. The cruise will last 7 nights and will depart from Zeas Marina (Athens), and stop in Poros, Polyaigos, Folegandros, Santorini, Antiparos, Paros, Delos, Mykonos, Syros and Kythnos before returning to Marina Zeas (Athens).
The “Jewels of the Cyclades” itinerary will offer the opportunity to visit beautiful villages with golden beaches and crystal clear waters. The Cyclades islands get their name from the Greek “kyklos”, meaning circle and in fact they form a sort of circle around the island of Delos, an UNESCO world heritage archaeological site.
The second ship in the fleet to restart sailing will be the Harmony V, a modern mega yacht that sails the seas with its 55 meters of length and can accommodate up to 49 guests. With elegant and refined lines, its offers an experience filled with privacy and comfort.
The Harmony V is scheduled to depart on June 4, 2021 with a 7-night itinerary departing from Marina Zeas (Athens) to then make stops in Kea, Delos, Mykonos, Santorini, Crete, Citera, Monemvasia, Nauplia, Nafplion and Hydra before returning to Marina Zeas (Athens). This itinerary will explore the wonders of classic Greece, every day you’ll stop in a new port where you can enjoy a bay surrounded by crystal-clear water and a view of ancient history.
The third ship to depart will be the Variety Voyager, a mega cruising yacht that can accommodate up to 70 passengers and allows guests to experience a vacation in complete privacy to discover the most beautiful Greek and Turkish coastlines. The ship will be offering 7-night cruises departing from Athens with stops in Ios, Santorini, Rodi, Simi, Bodrum, Kos, Lipsi, Patmos, Delos, Mykonos and Syros before returning to Athens.
