Scenic Eclipse: Relax in Bermuda and the Bahamas

This is a unique opportunity: thanks to Scenic Luxury Cruise, you can sail through the tropical paradise of Bermuda and the Bahamas, each with its own charm and natural wonders, united by a warm climate, ideal for this exclusive and unique cruise from October 12 to 24, 2024.

On the ultra-luxurious 6-star hotel yacht, the Scenic Eclipse, only 228 guests will have the chance to enjoy this all-inclusive journey, meticulously designed for an exclusive experience in the Caribbean islands, starting from the vibrant city of New York.

From the bright lights of Broadway to the lush Central Park and the glamorous boutiques of Fifth Avenue, you will be dazzled by the Big Apple. Boarding is scheduled for the afternoon of October 12, so it is recommended to book a flight arriving in New York before 2:00 PM. The Captain and crew of the Scenic Eclipse will welcome you onboard with a glass of champagne to toast the beginning of an unforgettable journey on the Sky Deck. An optional highlight is the sailing concert excursion celebrating the city.

The journey begins with a cruise along the entire eastern coast of the United States to reach Bermuda. The capital, Hamilton, is a pastel-colored place where the beaches have pink sand and turquoise waters. There is ample time to explore its British colonial history through the Victorian colonial architecture along lively Front Street, the Bermuda Cathedral, and the Royal Naval Dockyard. With a stop lasting until the next day, you can experience some of its vibrant nightlife, rich with bars, clubs, and entertainment venues. The second day can be dedicated to visiting the Botanical Gardens and their fortress, a scenic excursion on the Railway Trail, or snorkeling in the underwater world.

Two days at sea provide a relaxing respite to prepare for the stop at Salvador Island, one of the smallest inhabited islands in the Bahamas, where the Scenic Eclipse will dock at Cockburn Town. This is where Christopher Columbus first sighted the Americas in 1492 during his maiden voyage, and his landing site is commemorated with a white cross. Kayak exploration, paddleboarding, snorkeling, or an optional helicopter or submarine tour are some of the attractions here.

On the ninth day, the journey reaches Great Exuma, an idyllic paradise of sapphire blue waters, unspoiled nature, and deserted islets. It is another hidden gem inaccessible to larger cruise ships, a chain of 365 islands attracting the world’s most famous stars. Here, you will encounter the famous swimming pig colony, swim with nurse sharks, and hunt for conch shells.

After a day of relaxation at sea, the cruise docks at Honeymoon Harbour, a picturesque and secluded beach on Gun Cay, perfect for romantics. Its underwater realm features the SS Sapona, a ship commissioned for World War I but never completed, sold instead and used as a floating warehouse during Prohibition. It ran aground during a hurricane and is now a popular diving site surrounded by tropical fish.

The final day is dedicated to visiting Miami, the world capital of cruises. Here, the sophisticated and elegant design of the Scenic Eclipse will stand out among the mega-ships carrying over 5,000 passengers.

Miami is a blend of cultures: old-world Europeans, Cuban exiles, New Yorkers, surfers chasing waves, and Caribbean musicians. Dive into its diverse splendor and glamour, admiring Art Deco architecture, strolling along artistic Lincoln Road, and perhaps taking a boat tour to see the wildlife of the Everglades.

From your spacious suite, this cruise allows for a mix of leisurely days and immersive experiences in the crystal-clear waters of Bermuda and the Bahamas, paired with culinary experiences, exclusive lectures, and concerts, with butler service for each guest and an almost 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio.
