Seabourn restarts in the Caribbean with Seabourn Odyssey


Seabourn Cruise Line, the ultra-luxury cruise line company that is part of the Carnival Group, in collaboration with the government of Barbados announced the restarting of cruises aboard the Seabourn Odyssey beginning on July 18, 2021, from Bridgetown, Barbados.

Following the announcement of the restarting of cruises on the Seabourn Ovation to the Greek islands starting on July 3, 2021, Seabourn also confirmed that the Seabourn Odyssey will also begin sailing again. The latter will offer 7-night cruises, departing from Bridgetown, to the Southern Caribbean including ports of call in the wonderful Caribbean destinations of Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Maarten and St. Kitts.

Reservations were officially opened on April 21 and guests will also have the possibility to book 14-night trips by combining two separate itineraries of 7-nights each. “We are happy to work with the Barbados government to restart tourism in the Barbados and in the Caribbean Sea,” said Seabourn’s President, Josh Leibowitz.

There will be tons of entertainment and activities offered to guests on board, among these the “Caviar in the Surf” day which is particularly dear to all travelers of Seabourn and deserves a special mention. This particular event is held at Carambola Beach and during this event the Seabourn team serves caviar and champagne while guests relax on the beach. But the event keeps going, during the day guests are offered a sumptuous lunch of grilled lobster, fresh fruit and other delicious dishes.

Another special event is the much-loved “Marina Day”, a day in which the ship’s staff help guests participate in adrenaline-filled water sports using a platform at the rear of the ship that allows direct access to the water.

The cruise line will only welcome onto the ship guests and crew who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and all travelers will also be required to comply with the health protocols outlined in the Seabourn “Travel Safe” program. The company’s top priority is to protect the health and well-being of guests, team members and the communities they visit.
