Seabourn unveils its 2023 expedition voyages

Seabourn, has announced an exciting series of adventurous voyages for the summer of 2023 on its two new expedition ships, Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit.

The schedule includes several stops to the Northeast and Northwest Passages in the Arctic, where guests will discover two of the world’s most remote and fascinating regions rich in history, wildlife and unique landscapes.

Seabourn Venture will launch on July 29, 2023, for a 26-day voyage through the Northeast Passage from Tromso, Norway. Its sister ship, Seabourn Pursuit, scheduled to launch in March 2023, will offer a 23-day adventure through the infamous Northwest Passage from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland.

The expedition vessels will be designed and built for diverse environments to PC6 Polar Class standards, with advanced technology to maneuver in these regions. Sales for these voyages, as well as the entire 2023 summer season, will open on December 15, 2021.

“Our Northeast Passage and Northwest Passage are truly epic itineraries, perfect for travelers who want to explore less-traveled regions and take in scenery, nature and wildlife they never thought they’d see,” that’s what Josh Leibowitz, president of Seabourn, said.

Scheduled to launch in March 2023, Seabourn Pursuit will explore the Arctic, Greenland, Iceland and the Canadian Arctic during its inaugural season, beginning with a 12-day pre-inaugural voyage between Scotland and Iceland departing March 23, 2023 from Amsterdam. The ship will then make a 14-day maiden voyage departing April 4, 2023 from Reykjavik. Following its maiden voyage, Seabourn Pursuit will offer a series of Arctic Circle explorations from Norway on 11- to 15-day itineraries.

Seabourn Venture, on the other hand, will embark on its second year of operation in the summer of 2023, exploring the Arctic, Scotland, and Norway. The ship will begin its summer season on May 12, 2023, with a 10-day voyage to the Wild Isles of Scotland and Iceland from London. The ship will then offer a 12-day voyage to the Fjords of the Norwegian Sea, followed by a series of 11- and 12-day expeditions. Following the voyage in the Northeast Passage, Seabourn Venture will explore the Far East.
