SILVERSEA’S SILVER MOON LAUNCHES HER MAIDEN VOYAGES STARTING JUNE 18^TH

For Loyal passengers of the luxury cruise line Silversea, it seems like their last cruise was many moons ago.  They will be elated to hear that Silversea’s magnificent new Silver Moon is sailing from Athens in a series of 10-day cruises starting June 18th.  These voyages in the Eastern Mediterranean will explore some of Greece’s most beautiful destinations.  Expect to see Paros, Mykonos, Santorini and Crete when Silversea unveils the itineraries and opens sales on April 15^th.  Silver Moon will also venture deeper into the Mediterranean with calls in Haifa, Israel and the island country of Cyprus.

Passengers will experience new standards of luxury aboard Silversea’s newest ship

Silver Moon follows her twin sister ship Silver Muse in affording guests one of the most luxurious experiences afloat. Carrying just 596 passengers, Silver Moon maintains the small-ship profile and all-suite accommodations for which Silversea is justly famous. Every single suite on the ship is served by a dedicated Butler. He is one of 411 crew members for one of the highest passenger to crew ratios in all of cruising. All but 12 suites have verandas for instant access to the sea breezes.

Dining options are many including a brand-new program that will revolutionize Culinary Travel

Seven perennial favorite dining experiences will be familiar to Silversea’s past passengers. Atlantide is the ship’s main dining room.  La Dame continues to bring the finest French cuisine aboard.  La Terrazza’s Italian specialties are particularly popular as is its al fresco dining terrace overlooking the wake of the ship.  It is one of three al fresco dining experiences. The Grill is a poolside favorite.  One deck up, Spaccanapoli is named for Naples famous street lined with the restaurants serving Naples own gift to the culinary world: Pizza. Silver Note is the perfect place for tapas and smooth jazz.  Kaiseki is a calm oasis serving the most extraordinary Japanese specialties. And finally, there’s an entire deck devoted to an entirely new Culinary adventure: S.A.L.T.

For Safety’s Sake…Silversea will require all crew and guests to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

In line with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Silversea will require all embarking crew and guests to have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The requirement will apply to all Silversea voyages globally, with the exclusion of sailings departing from Australia, for which protocol is still under evaluation.“Our guests share our excitement for our eagerly-anticipated healthy return to service.
