Silversea: to Antarctica from Puerto Williams
Silversea Cruises enhances guest travel to Antarctica with a more comfortable connection. Guests traveling aboard the line’s three ice-class expedition ships, Silver Cloud, Silver Wind and Silver Explorer,, will embark and disembark in Puerto Williams, Chile for the 2022-2023 season, enjoying longer flight times affordable and personalized service during an exclusive charter flight and faster transfers to the ship, among other benefits.

The trips to Antarctica will incorporate several benefits for the 2022-2023 season, such as: Overnight in a five-star hotel in Santiago, with welcome dinner and breakfast; a convenient transfer to Santiago airport the following day, with a flight departing from a private airport terminal; an exclusive charter flight to Puerto Williams, fully escorted by a representative from Silversea; a personalized flight experience; a faster transfer to the ship in Puerto Williams and disembarkation from the ship, direct transfer to the airport and charter flight to Santiago for the onward journey.
The departure from Puerto Williams will also allow Silver Cloud and Silver Wind to call at Cape Horn, southern Chile, for select voyages, conditions permitting, allowing travelers to disembark at one of the continent’s southernmost points.
Silversea’s three luxury expedition ships offer the widest selection of Antarctic itineraries including a range of 10-day explorations of the Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands, as well as shorter cruises aboard Silver Explorer from King George Island. Longer journeys include the Antarctic Peninsula, South Shetland Islands, Falkland Islands, Elephant Island and South Georgia. In addition, a Deep Antarctica itinerary will take 20 days to trace a route beyond the Antarctic Circle, attempting to reach a latitude of 69 degrees to the south.
