Star Clippers: New Themed Cruises for 2024 and 2025

The 2024 and 2025 themed cruise schedule by Star Clippers offers guests the opportunity to learn new skills, work on personal growth, or achieve their fitness goals while sailing.

A specialist in tall ships for over 30 years, Star Clippers has arranged for speakers, chefs, and fitness instructors to provide themed cruises featuring yoga, photography, cooking, and much more. This offering comes at no additional cost and adds the thrill of sailing to exotic ports in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Central America aboard an authentic clipper. The company’s philosophy states: “Our destination is never a place, but rather a new way of seeing things” – Henry Miller.

During these cruises, guests can participate in daily yoga classes on the deck of the clipper under thousands of square feet of sails billowing in the wind, offering relaxation for both body and mind. Qualified yoga instructors will teach Ashtanga yoga, also known as power yoga, in the fresh morning air. Additional classes will be held in the evening, just before sunset, accompanied by meditation. There will also be lessons on the philosophy of yoga and useful tips for practicing at home.

The classes will be available on all three ships in the Star Clippers fleet: Star Clipper, Star Flyer, and Royal Clipper. The latter holds the Guinness World Record for being the largest and only five-masted tall ship. All three ships feature expansive teak decks, swimming pools, convivial tropical bars on deck, and piano lounges.

The themed cruises will take place in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean and will also include photography and culinary themes.
