The restart of the Scenic river cruises
Scenic’s first river cruise has restarted, after two years, the luxury company is deploying all its ships for the 2022 season. Opening the season is an eight-day cruise on the Rhine River.
Following the pandemic, in the summer of 2021, Scenic had re-proposed a small number of departures exclusively in the Bordeaux region and on the Douro and Reno rivers. For this year, the company, offers more than 300 itineraries throughout Europe, will sail on the rivers Rhine, Main, Danube, Moselle, Seine, Rhone, Garonne, Gironde, Dordogne and Douro. In addition, 2 new itineraries will be presented in the 2022 season: 11-day Tastes of Southern France and 11-day Flavors of Bordeaux.

Among the Scenic proposals for the 2022 season we find:
Rhine Highlights: An eight-day journey from Amsterdam to Basel, stopping in Cologne, Koblenz, Heidelberg, Baden-Baden and Strasbourg.
Tastes of Southern France: An 11-day trip departing and arriving from Lyon, with stops in Mâcon, Chalon-sur-Saône, Tain L’Hermitage, Avignon and Viviers. During this extraordinary itinerary, you will be able to participate in two exclusive events: a private interactive workshop at the Valrhona Cité du Chocolate and an unforgettable classical concert at the prestigious Palais des Papes.
