Ambience: Sally Gunnell will be the godmother
Ambassador Cruise Line has announced that former British athlete Sally Gunnell OBE has been chosen as godmother for their first ship, Ambience. Sally will rename the ship during a special ceremony in London Tilbury on April 19.
Setting sail from London Tilbury, the no-fly itineraries offer an authentic, premium value cruise experience primarily aimed at travelers over 50.

Ambassador’s first ship, Ambience, will enter service on April 20, 2022 with a maiden voyage to Hamburg, followed by 31 additional sailings calling at more than 90 different ports. Itineraries will include the British Isles, Norwegian fjords, Greenland, the Arctic and Iceland, as well as numerous short-break cruises. For the winter months, a series of exploration-style voyages will set sail to the Canary Islands, Cuba, the Caribbean, Cape Verde and Scandinavia.
