Ambition: Ambassador Cruise Line expands its fleet
Ambassador Cruise Line buys a second ship, Ambition, and expands the fleet before it even begins cruise operations.
Ambassador Cruise Line, the new British cruise line that has just announced that it has added Ambition to its fleet, thus completing a fleet of two units even before starting operations, is an enthusiastic sign.
The ship, formerly AidaMira, requires a series of refurbishments that will bring it up to the standards of the newborn company in the premium segment. A great deal of effort will also be put into updating technology to respect the environment, a concept dear to Ambassador Cruise Line and which the new ship will also have to follow.
Ambition
Ambition will start its activity in 2023, with a series of itineraries mainly aimed at the over 50s interested in fully experiencing a new concept of premium cruising. Many will be the ports of embarkation involving Ambition‘s cruises from summer 2023: London Tilbury, Newcastle, Dundee, Belfast, Liverpool, Bristol and Falmouth, with variable durations and even some short cruises.
Ambassador Cruise Line‘s new ship can accommodate up to 1,200 guests with considerable comfort and space in its 714 cabins, 125 of which have balconies, and 113 suites with a living area of up to 62 m². Also on board are two main restaurants and various specialty options, as well as a more casual bistro-style café, four bars/lounges and a pub.
Ambition also offers a main theater, casino and gambling room, library, and DIY workshop. For sports and wellness enthusiasts, a well-equipped gym, spa, and two swimming pools.

All eyes now remain on Ambience‘s debut, scheduled for April 2022, when guests will finally be able to experience Ambassador Cruise Line‘s exciting product with itineraries to discover Britain’s most beautiful locations.
