Crystal Announces Plans for Four New Ships in 6 Years
During an executive briefing for media and travel agents aboard a short preview cruise of Crystal Serenity, Cristina Levis, CEO of A&K Travel Group, announced that the brand is collaborating with their advisors and financiers to sign a memorandum of understanding with two European shipyards for four new ships. This will include two classic ships and two expedition vessels.
During the presentation, Levis stated, “We have ambitious growth plans for Crystal and are proud of what we have achieved with the relaunch of Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony in less than a year since acquiring the brand. We are excited to officially announce that we will be expanding our fleet and continuing to offer the most exceptional cruise experiences in the industry.”

On July 31, Crystal Serenity sets sail for its inaugural voyage from Marseille after extensive refurbishment. Crystal Serenity’s sister ship, Crystal Symphony, will depart from Athens on September 1 for its inaugural sailing.
