Crystal Cruises: News for the trade reservations team

Crystal Cruises has announced significant updates in its global reservations and trade sales operations, providing a more efficient service for all travel partners.

As of May 1st, the entire North American trade reservations team is exclusively based at the Miami headquarters, while localized teams are now fully operational in London and Melbourne to support key global markets. This decision highlights the importance of offering personalized service and improving operational efficiency to better support travel partners.

Mary-Beth Meadowcroft, SVP of Global Sales & Reservations for Crystal, emphasized that bringing the trade reservations team in-house is a strategic move underscoring the company’s commitment to providing the highest level of service to travel partners and guests, ensuring more consistent, efficient, and personalized support, crucial for fostering strong relationships and delivering the exceptional experiences Crystal is known for.

The cruise line is also expanding its global trade sales teams in key regions; in North America, Margaret Thwaites, with over two decades of experience and a proven track record in sales and customer relations, has been appointed as the new Southeast Regional Sales Director. Additionally, a team of new Business Development Specialists will be introduced to support travel advisors and Regional Sales Directors, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.

Stephen Joyner, promoted to Senior Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland, will continue to focus on expanding trade distribution while enhancing Crystal’s support for trade partners; Giorgio Costa, who recently joined the team as Regional Sales Manager for Europe, will handle cruise sales in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and other key European markets, meanwhile, Evon Ler has been named the new Sales Director for the Asia-Pacific region, where her extensive industry experience and strategic vision will be crucial for driving growth and engagement in this key market.

Marett Taylor, Chief Sales Officer for A&K Travel Group, expressed confidence in these global enhancements, demonstrating dedication to travel advisors and looking forward to creating unforgettable experiences for their guests across all regions where Crystal operates.
