Eataly Sets Sail on MSC World America
MSC World America, the newest gem of MSC Cruises, will not only showcase beauty and technology once it sets sail but also become a top-tier gastronomic destination, thanks to an extraordinary partnership with Eataly, the global ambassador of high-quality Italian cuisine and wine.
Eataly, renowned for blending tradition and innovation, will offer a menu that reflects the philosophy of “eating well, living better,” bringing the best of Italian cuisine on board, including dishes inspired by various regions, paired with a premium selection of wines.
Onboard, the Eataly restaurant will offer a unique experience, a true homage to the art of Italian cooking, with dishes ranging from fresh pasta to traditional delicacies. The new Eataly restaurant on MSC World America will feature a menu with iconic Italian gastronomic dishes, from beloved options available at Eataly shops to exclusive creations only available onboard, such as fresh pasta and traditional specialties prepared with fresh and sustainable ingredients, carefully selected from top-quality producers. Guests will enjoy an unmatched selection of ingredients, meticulously sourced from Italian suppliers, with fresh pasta made on-site, creating an unforgettable culinary journey that celebrates the finest flavors of Italy, delivering an explosion of authentic tastes in an elegant setting. The restaurant’s design will incorporate warm materials, natural tones, and soft lighting, creating a casual yet refined atmosphere, while an open kitchen will allow guests to witness the live preparation of dishes.
In addition to the exciting new Eataly venue, MSC World America will present a diverse array of dining options to satisfy every palate. The new Paxos on the Go, located in the Promenade District, Promenade Bites, and The Harbour Bar & Bites in the Family Aventura District will respectively offer authentic Greek dishes like souvlaki and fried seafood, quick bites like hotdogs and chili dogs, or sweet treats like cotton candy, while the third will serve savory snacks like empanadas, burritos, and cookies. Additionally, La Boca Grill will serve pizza in the Aqua Deck district, and Luna Park Pizza & Burger will offer classic American fare available all day.
Specialty restaurants such as Kaito Sushi Bar, Butcher’s Cut, Hola! Tacos & Cantina, and the new Greek restaurant Paxos will offer unique culinary experiences. Paxos will become a must-visit for Mediterranean cuisine lovers, with a menu rich in fresh seafood dishes and Greek specialties, all served in an elegant and relaxing atmosphere.
To embark on this culinary journey, guests will only need to wait until MSC World America enters service in April 2025, when it will welcome guests aboard for its inaugural season, sailing from PortMiami to the enchanting Caribbean destinations. Itineraries will also include a stop at the exclusive Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the company’s private island in the Bahamas.
The collaboration between MSC Cruises, a company with a strong Italian heritage, and Eataly will offer guests a journey into taste, celebrating the authenticity and culinary culture of Italy, adding to the already extensive culinary offerings on board.
