Emerald Kaia: Construction of the New Yacht Begins
The construction of the highly anticipated next-generation superyacht, Emerald Kaia, the latest addition to Emerald Cruises‘ luxury yacht fleet, has officially begun.
The steel-cutting ceremony for Emerald Kaia, a significant milestone in the ship’s construction, took place in Vietnam with an intimate ceremony at the Halong Shipbuilding Company, while the keel-laying ceremony is expected to occur in three months.

Emerald Kaia, set to sail to some of the most captivating destinations and coastlines starting in April 2026, will offer unparalleled luxury experiences, from the Mediterranean and Adriatic to the Aegean Sea and the Seychelles Islands. This new vessel aims to redefine luxury at sea with its exceptional amenities, offering unprecedented experiences for travelers on board. With a length of 120 meters, the ship will have an increased capacity to accommodate 128 guests. Notable features of Emerald Kaia include cutting-edge enhancements and larger areas, such as a reimagined Sky Deck with private cabanas and a new indoor Sky Lounge, providing a luxurious experience with expansive panoramic views. The renowned Marina, complemented by a new Marina Lounge, now offers a wider range of water sports activities. At the front of the ship, the Observation Sun Deck features a thermal pool and sun loungers, giving guests more options to relax on board.

Culinary enthusiasts will be delighted by the diverse dining options on Emerald Kaia, including the new Asian-inspired Night Market Grill, which can accommodate up to eight guests (at an additional cost), and a larger terrace for alfresco dining at La Cucina restaurant. For those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, the Elements Spa will offer a full menu of treatments dedicated to nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. Additionally, Emerald Kaia will feature a fitness center with an outdoor platform offering panoramic ocean views, creating an inspiring workout environment.
