Lindblad presents the National Geographic Resolution

After the enthusiastic resumption of sailing, beginning this week in Alaska and the Galapagos Islands, on Tuesday, June 8th, 2021, in Ulstein Verft in Norway, Lindblad Expeditions Holdings, celebrated its new ship, the National Geographic Resolution. This twin ship of the National Geographic Endurance was delivered in 2021 and is the company’s second polar ship.

The National Geographic Resolution, when full, can accommodate up to 126 guests in 69 spacious cabins. All the rooms are equipped with large windows and balconies, private bathrooms, individually-controlled air conditioning/heating and Wi-Fi. On the ship and available to guests are: Zodiac boats, kayaks, snowshoes and cross-country skis.

The common areas include a lounge with a bar, a gym, outside whirlpool tubs, saunas with ocean views, a library, a spa and two restaurants serving local and sustainable cuisine.

The National Geographic Resolution is an ice-class 5 (PC5) polar ship. It also has a patented X-bow with a powerful wave-cutting action that provides an extremely smooth ride even in adverse weather conditions, which results in greater fuel efficiency and fewer emissions, for a reduced environmental impact.
