NCL: debuts the new season “EMBARK with NCL”
Norwegian Cruise Line today announced the next season of its visual storytelling platform, “EMBARK with NCL,” with the first episode, “Caribbean Adventures,” premiering Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 8 p.m. ET on www.ncl.com/embark and on Facebook.
Following its successful first season, this second season will focus on high-caliber offerings on board and ashore, as well as guests’ favorite destinations, starting with the Caribbean. In addition, American TV personality and world traveler Zay Harding will lead viewers this season as EMBARK’s host, recounting his adventures on cruises around the world.

“EMBARK with NCL allows us to visually showcase the incredible experiences we offer across our dynamic fleet, as well as the unforgettable vacation moments that await our guests in some of the most noteworthy destinations around the world,” said Harry Sommer, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line. “This season, our guests can discover, or rediscover, some of their favorite places and get a peek into NCL’s future with episodes dedicated to our next best-in-class ship, Norwegian Prima.”

In the second season, guests will have a front row seat to both the onboard experience and the more than 300 incredible destinations NCL visits each year.
“The most exciting thing about this new season is the importance of content to travelers who may not be familiar with cruises,” said Christine Da Silva, SVP of Branding and Communications at Norwegian Cruise Line. “The first season offered us the opportunity to connect with loyal guests, as well as those who know us. The second season is about the experience: about the food, the entertainment, and the incredible places we visit.”
With this season, NCL will also invite guests to discover the majestic islands of Hawaii when Harding sails aboard the Pride of America, the only ship to offer roundtrips between the islands from Honolulu.

Three other EMBARKs will be premiered throughout the year, including:
“Great Cruise Cookoff,” where NCL’s culinary champions will battle it out in the kitchen for a chance to showcase their creations aboard the highly anticipated Norwegian Prima.
“Evolution of Innovation” will celebrate the brand’s legendary history and its legacy of “firsts.”
Last, but certainly not least, in the season finale, Harding will travel to Reykjavik, Iceland, to participate in the event of the season, the christening of Norwegian Prima. He will bring viewers with him for this history-making celebration, in which godmother Katy Perry will not only fulfill the longstanding maritime tradition of blessing and officially naming Norwegian Prima, but will perform during the christening ceremony before the new ship sets sail on her maiden voyages.
