Oceania Cruises Welcomes Allura to Fleet

Oceania Cruises has unveiled Allura, the new ship that will debut in 2025. She will be the eighth ship of this world-leading large cruise line focused on fine dining and magnificent destinations.

Allura will be the second Allura-class ship after her sister ship Vista, which will sail in May this year. With a tonnage of about 67,000 tons, she will accommodate 1,200 guests and consist of 800 officers and crew members, thus offering a staff-to-guest ratio unmatched in the industry.

Currently under construction by renowned shipbuilder Fincantieri S.p.A. in Italy, the ship with only balcony cabins will set sail on its maiden voyage in spring 2025.

In true Oceania Cruises style she will boast exceptionally personalized, warm and welcoming service and feature eye-catching furnishings and décor with a variety of rich itineraries. The ship will thrill guests in the freedom of exploration while sailing and discovering some of the world’s most fascinating places. The underlying idea is to represent the eternal lure of the mysterious and the unknown, taking travelers to a world of enchantment where new adventures, off-the-beaten-path destinations and more await them.

Allura will also be prized by guests for its dining experiences: there will be no shortage of Ember, the exclusive upscale restaurant serving reinvented American classics, and Aquamar Kitchen, both debuting on Vista in May, as well as larger standard cabins and a new Chef’s Studio.

“At Oceania Cruises, we are always looking for ways to modernize our offerings to continually surprise and delight our discerning guests as they enjoy unexpected new experiences,” said Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises. “We are thrilled with the incredible demand we’ve seen for Allura’s sister ship, Vista, due to its already sold-out 2023 inaugural season. The arrival of a new ship is the perfect time to take a closer look at what we offer travelers, which is why we have already begun planning exciting new elements to add to the entire fleet.”

Details of Allura‘s inaugural season, which will feature an intriguing array of boutique destinations in Europe and the Americas, will be revealed this spring before going on sale in the summer.

Del Rio added, “As we prepare to welcome Allura into the family, we have designed its inaugural trips to attract travelers from around the world to have fun, reconnect with favorite destinations or get excited about discovering places and beauty for the first time.”
