Silversea unveils innovative Silver Nova details
Silversea Cruises presented the latest news on the 11th ship in the fleet, Silver Nova, whose delivery is scheduled for 2023.
Built with a revolutionary asymmetrical design, the new ship will offer guests innovative outdoor spaces for an unprecedented approach to the destination, there will be a completely reinvented and outward facing pool terrace; There is also an outdoor dining area and a sky bar that will offer panoramic views from the stern of the ship.

The Pool Deck – Decks 10/11
The Silver Nova pool decks will be the main outdoor areas for guests to relax, cool off and socialize, with ample space for 280 loungers, they will be placed on decks 10 and 11. The horseshoe shaped pool area will occupy a generous space on the starboard side of the ship. With an area of 130 m2, the main pool will be larger than on previous ships of the company.
Deck 10’s poolside bar will offer a centralized hub for socializing, day and night. On deck 11, an amphitheater-shaped structure will offer guests a quieter and more intimate space to relax, with sweeping views of the destination and the sea. At its core, a brand new infinity-edge whirlpool will extend, called The Cliff Whirlpool.
The Marquee – Deck 10
The asymmetrical design of Silver Nova has also allowed the introduction of two new rooms on deck 10. The Marquee is one of the two, positioned towards the stern of the ship on the left side, with an incredible view of the sea. The restaurant will welcome up to 220 guests and together with The Grill and Spaccanapoli, will delight guests with tasty lunches and dinners.
The Dusk Bar – Deck 10
The second of the two new venues is The Dusk Bar, a brand new open air sky bar that will offer an elegant space for up to 70 guests to enjoy a drink, with 270 degree panoramic views from the stern of Silver Nova.
Silver Nova will offer guests a selection of exclusive restaurants on decks 3 and 4, expanded and reinvented and with improved design. The largest of Silver Nova’s restaurants, La Terrazza, will accommodate 340 guests and will feature a vibrant new color palette. The Atlantis can accommodate up to 270 guests, located on deck 3, it will be the second largest restaurant on the ship. Silversea’s exclusive French restaurant, La Dame, will be more spacious, with an expanded capacity for 70 diners. Taking inspiration from the best sushi restaurants in the world, Kaiseki will keep its minimalist and sophisticated aesthetic, welcoming up to 40 guests.
Silver Nova is set to become the world’s first low-emission cruise ship with advanced hybrid technology, emitting zero harmful emissions while in port, a first in the industry. She will host up to 728 guests in 13 different suite categories, the largest variety of suites in Silversea’s history. Each suite on board will offer guests the use of a private balcony, Otium, the Roman-inspired wellness program and S.A.L.T ..
