Star Legend protagonist of a television series

Star Legend, the elegant and luxurious small cruise ship from Windstar Cruises with a capacity of 312 passengers and all-suite accommodations, has become the star of an episode of “Traveling with Denella Ri’chard,” a critically acclaimed television series.

By debuting in the television series, Star Legend aims to win a significant television award. The episode of the weekly series, now in its seventh season, is focused on Windstar and has been airing since July 13. The episode highlights the Mediterranean in the off-season, particularly a journey from Barcelona to Rome in winter, where Windstar’s smaller ships can dock in unique ports and locations inaccessible to larger vessels. Richard describes Windstar’s Star Legend as a “sanctuary of luxury and comfort,” offering off-season travel experiences through Spain, France, and Italy.

The series showcases the Windstar sailing event, the crew, and the line’s award-winning culinary program, including the partnership with the James Beard Foundation, featuring small group outings to shop with the Windstar chef for local and seasonal ingredients. Additionally, tours of some of the yacht’s most luxurious spaces, such as the Owner’s Suite and the spa with its expansive facilities and services, including heated loungers, a sensory shower, and a steam room, are highlighted. Richard also comments on the ease and quality of Windstar’s shore excursions, as well as the possibility of exploring on one’s own, discovering hidden gems and unique experiences like enjoying hot chocolate in Marseille, admiring the impressive Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Sagrada Familia.

The series, which takes viewers on engaging journeys around the world, is broadcast on national television in over 40 cities and is hosted by travel expert Denella Ri’chard, an industry insider who has held leadership positions in major travel companies. “Traveling with Denella Ri’chard” is also available for streaming on GoTraveler, GFNtv, and Tubi, and available to U.S. military forces in 168 countries on American Forces Network. Additionally, it is shared with 180,000 travel advisors on VAX: Vacation Access, where leisure travel advisors can “earn, learn, and grow.” To watch the Windstar episode available online since July 13, you can tune in on the Travelingwithdenella website.
