Uniworld: exciting new offerings for 2025
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has announced its new offerings for 2025, which include a series of new itineraries, cruise extensions, and the highly anticipated debut of the new S.S. Elisabeth, set to sail from Amsterdam in March.
The luxury river cruise company continues to expand its offerings with six new itineraries across Europe, including Italy, France, Portugal, and other destinations. Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld, expressed her excitement in presenting these new offerings, emphasizing that the company’s goal is to provide unforgettable experiences for its guests.
SS Elisabeth
Joining the Uniworld fleet in 2025, the S.S. Elisabeth will accommodate up to 110 guests in 55 spacious suites and staterooms. Known for its luxurious amenities, the ship boasts some of the largest suites on Europe’s rivers and includes a pool, gym, massage room, and a sundeck bar. The S.S. Elisabeth will embark on its inaugural journey with the 8-day Castles Along the Rhine itinerary in March, followed by the Rhine Holiday Markets itinerary during the 2025 holiday season.
Uniworld will introduce six brand-new itineraries in Europe next year, designed to offer unparalleled cultural immersion:
– Cruise & Rail: Paris to Istanbul: A 14-day adventure combining river and land travel across seven countries, including Paris, Vienna, and Istanbul, with highlights like vineyard tours in Champagne and live saxophone performances in Postojna Cave.
– Wine Roads of France and Portugal: An 18-day voyage perfect for wine lovers, combining the Brilliant Bordeaux and Portugal, Spain & the Douro River Valley itineraries. Guests will enjoy wine tastings, cycling tours through vineyards, and travel aboard the S.S. Bon Voyage and S.S. São Gabriel.
– Rhine, Moselle, and Belgium Grand Discovery: A 15-day journey from Belgium to Switzerland, visiting six countries onboard the S.S. Victoria.
– Grande Italia: A 13-day exploration of Milan, Venice, and Rome, paired with hidden Venetian gems aboard the S.S. La Venezia.
– Rome, Venice & the Jewels of Veneto: An 11-day tour beginning in Venice and continuing through local Venetian towns and Rome, including Vatican City, aboard the S.S. La Venezia.
– Dutch and Belgian Holiday Celebration: A festive 11-day itinerary celebrating Christmas in Belgium and New Year’s in the Netherlands onboard the S.S. Victoria.

Uniworld is expanding its collection of cruise extensions for 2025, offering guests the chance to enhance their experience with unique destinations such as Madeira Island, where guests can opt for a pre-cruise extension for Portugal itineraries, featuring four days exploring the stunning natural landscapes of Madeira; Mediterranean Cassis, a three-day journey through the picturesque fishing port of Cassis for guests on select France itineraries; Biarritz, for a four-day adventure in the luxurious seaside town of Biarritz, available as a pre-cruise extension for select France itineraries; Engelberg, for a four-day alpine escape in Switzerland, available as an extension for the Rhine Holiday Markets itinerary; Kitzbühel, for a four-day Austrian alpine experience for guests of the Danube Holiday Markets itinerary; and Zurich, a three-day extension offering cultural immersion through art and shopping.
To celebrate these new offerings, Uniworld is offering an Early Booking Savings Offer. Guests who book and pay in full by September 30, 2024, can save up to 20% on select 2025 cruises, including popular itineraries like Grande Italia. Travel agents who complete the “What’s New for 2025” certification, following their enrollment in the 2025 edition of Uniworld University, the company’s online training portal, will gain exclusive access to benefits such as special travel rates, CLIA certification points, and a badge designating them as Uniworld Preferred Specialists.
