European Waterways: in Italy with “La Bella Vita”.
European Waterways presents its services and some new features for 2022, with the spotlight on Italy aboard La Bella Vita.
European Waterways, with over 40 years of experience, specializes in creating unique all-inclusive cruising experiences in its luxury hotel barges.
La Bella Vita is an elegant barge with typically modern and colorful Italian interiors that can accommodate up to 20 passengers. It offers a cruise in a beautiful part of Italy, on the Venetian Lagoon, along the Po River and the Canal Bianco, between Venice and the Renaissance city of Mantua.
A travel experience for experienced travelers or cruise passengers looking for something different or for those looking for an “experiential tour” or even for food lovers who like to savor Italian and European cuisine.
New for 2022 are CULINARY CRUISES: European Waterways is currently working on a culinary-themed cruise to Italy aboard La Bella Vita! Focusing on culinary excursions and experiences as well as cooking demonstrations, it will be the perfect opportunity to explore and taste some of Italy’s best products and dishes!
OPERA CRUISES: For opera lovers, a special Opera Cruises aboard La Bella Vita will definitely be a once in a lifetime experience! Opera Cruises are available in July and August, based on ticket availability. The Opera cruise includes premium seat tickets to the magnificent Roman amphitheater, the Arena of Verona.
SINGLE TRAVELER CRUISE: European Waterways is pleased to announce the exclusive “Solo Cruise,” all cabins will be made available for single use, departing October 16, 2022
TRANSFERS: Venice is the designated location for transfers to and from cruises on La Bella Vita, regardless of the direction of the cruise there is a choice of 2 locations at fixed times.
WINE TASTING CRUISES: A private boat trip to the island of Sant’Erasmo for a tasting at the Orto Winery, a tour of the beautiful 17th century Widmann Borletti Renaissance villa and its magnificent gardens, with private tasting. A visit to the medieval village of Soave, famous for its sparkling and dry wines, a tasting on board of Serego Alighieri wines from Northern Italy.
All barges are sold on a “Per Cabin” basis, but an entire barge can also be rented for families and groups of 6, 8 up to 20 people, in this case the barge becomes a flexible platform and in addition to the classic itinerary, offers a range of themed itineraries including Family, Wine Tasting, Walking, Golf, Tennis and more.
