Explora I: Details of the Owner’s Residence
Explora Journeys, MSC Group’s luxury lifestyle brand, has unveiled the design of the Owner’s Residence, the largest suite on Explora I. Measuring 280 square meters, its European-style design reflects the brand’s Ocean State of Mind philosophy.
The Owner’s Residence offers several harmonious spaces to relax, entertain and rejuvenate while taking in the ocean views from the private deck, which spans the full width of the ship and features an infinity soaking tub and a table for eight.

Jason Gelineau, Head of Product for Explora Journeys, said, “Every aspect of the design of the Owner’s Residence reflects meticulous attention to detail. To provide our guests with an unparalleled experience, we have partnered with the most prestigious brands: the sofas and chairs are by the iconic Knoll and Molteni & C. brands, the outdoor furniture is by Manutti, the sophisticated lighting solutions are by Astep, and the elegant double-sink bathroom is made of precious Calacatta marble. All of these incredible details bring to life a sense of elegance with a casual and relaxed European atmosphere.”
The Owner’s Residence includes a wide range of amenities and benefits, and guests will also have access to a Technogym bench and equipment, a private bar stocked according to their preferences, and a welcome bottle of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2013. Most importantly, Owner’s Residence guests will have access to a dedicated butler service managed by the Residence Manager, luggage assistance, transfer and itinerary planning services, and in-suite dining. They will also enjoy unlimited priority reservations at all of the ship’s bars and restaurants, complimentary treatments at Ocean Wellness – The Spa, complimentary hotel accommodations before or after the cruise, and round-trip transfers between the hotel and port.

Environmentally conscious Explora Journeys also favored sustainable solutions, such as refillable bath products, an espresso machine with biodegradable capsules, and a complimentary refillable water bottle for each suite guest.
