Explora Journeys: Adventures for all ages
Explora Journeys, MSC Group’s luxury travel and lifestyle brand, will launch its first ship, Explora I, in July with experiences for all ages, reflecting the brand’s inclusive ethos.
In fact, Explora Journeys will offer sea adventures for the whole family, welcoming people of all ages, supporting the idea that “a family vacation is one of the most precious things in the world”, with personalized services and attention to the smallest details that will make sea voyages unforgettable.
Explora Journeys Suite
The services available start with the choice of suite, which will be available onboard Explora I and later on Explora II, 78 communicating suites that will offer space and privacy for the whole family, available in Ocean Suite, Ocean Penthouse and Ocean Residence versions, giving guests the possibility to combine different types of suites to meet the needs of any type of family unit. Attention will also be paid to younger guests onboard, with personalized bathrobes, slippers and coat hangers.
Explora Journeys Destination Experiences
Destination Experiences are designed to appeal to all ages and create lasting memories for the whole family, combining culture and discovery for adults and fun for the little ones. Some of the planned activities include a visit to a space center where children can meet a real astronaut, or for those who love the sea, an experience accompanied by a marine biologist will take guests on a discovery of whales and other fantastic sea creatures.
Nautilus Club
Finally, the Nautilus Club, dedicated to children and teenagers from 6 to 17 years old, will be open daily from 9 a.m. to midnight and will offer a multifunctional space with video games, books, sports equipment, swimming pool, music and many artistic and creative activities that will allow children to socialize and learn while having fun. There will also be playtime and activities for children ages 3 to 5 accompanied by a parent.
Thanks to the Nautilus Club, young guests will also be able to participate in a program dedicated to protecting the sea and the planet, in collaboration with the MSC Foundation, with recreational workshops and discussions on the environmental footprint and sustainable practices adopted on the ships to stimulate younger minds.
Helios Pool & Bar
For those not traveling with families, or for those who want to make time for some healthy relaxation, the ships will offer adults-only spaces such as the Helios Pool & Bar, the All-Day Lounge and the rooftop pool area forward on Deck 12. As the sunniest and quietest environment onboard, it will be possible to relax by the pool, with refreshing towels and sunscreen always available.
New all-inclusive dining experiences, inspiring events, luxury and relaxation complete an all-inclusive vacation for all ages.
