When EXPLORA I sets sail in May 2023, an extraordinary Beauty Studio awaits its guests.
In keeping with Explora Journeys “Ocean State of Mind” connecting guests with the sea, with themselves and with like-minded travelers, the new Cruise Line has just announced its unique on-board Beauty and Wellness offerings. All of these are centered around the luxury ship’s 700 sq. meter (7500 sq. foot) Spa. Included in the space is Beauty Studio, a tranquil haven where every beauty need is met. From Salon hair and barber services to nail treatments for both hands and feet, Explora Journeys guests will experience top-of-line stylists and manicure specialists. But there is much more. As Julanda Marais, Senior Lead Spa Operations puts it: “We want to give our guests a feeling of refined simplicity, relaxed luxury and complete mental and physical replenishment”.

At the top of the list is Skincare that is completely personalized. Only sustainable products with proven active ingredients are on offer on Explora. And every one is powered by botanical, marine and biological extracts.

Of the total 11 Treatment Rooms, one is given over entirely to the specialized Medi-Luxe treatments by the famed Dr. Philip Levy. These have been scientifically proven to stimulate the body’s source of collagen production. And this in turn has the effect of reversing skin ageing by protecting, nourishing and awakening the skin’s own natural regeneration system. 15 years of stem cell research by Dr. Levy has produced products protected by an international medical patent.
