NCL: Reservations Open for Norwegian Aqua

Norwegian Cruise Line has opened reservations for the brand-new Norwegian Aqua, the first ship of the Prima Plus Class set to sail in April 2025. It offers 7-day Caribbean cruises departing from one of the most sought-after ports, Port Canaveral, Florida.

The Norwegian Aqua features a vibrant and colorful hull design created by renowned street artist Allison Hueman, the first female artist commissioned by NCL for ship designs. Her work, titled “Where the Sky Meets the Sea,” is curated by Goldman Global Arts and aims to evoke modern mythology through a colorful fusion of abstract and figurative representations of the sea and sky, dominated by an ancient goddess.

World’s First Hybrid Roller Coaster and Exciting Upper Deck Experiences

Norwegian Aqua boasts the world’s first hybrid roller coaster and water slide, the Aqua Slidecoaster, offering two different thrilling routes propelled by a magnetic lift. The new Glow Court is a digital sports complex with an interactive LED floor, providing guests with a variety of interactive activities during the day and transforming into a dance floor at night. Classic Prima Class experiences like The Drop, NCL’s famous free-fall slide, and the Stadium, a game space with complimentary activities, are also available.

The Largest NCL Haven Complex and Spacious Seafront Accommodations

Norwegian Aqua offers brand-new luxurious accommodations in the premium Haven by Norwegian complex, accessible only with a magnetic card. It includes four spacious two-story suites with separate living and dining areas, three bathrooms, a large balcony, and three bedrooms, two of which feature king-size beds. The main suite includes floor-to-ceiling windows for breathtaking ocean views. The Haven on board the Norwegian Aqua offers the largest Haven complex in the fleet with 123 well-appointed suites, featuring exclusive access to an extensive solarium, an infinity pool, an outdoor spa with a glass sauna and an ice room, two hot tubs, a private lounge, an exclusive bar serving rare spirits and exclusive vintages, and expansive ocean views from every common area. Guests also enjoy 24-hour waiter service and an exclusive concierge service.

Norwegian Aqua also provides spacious sea-view and balcony accommodations, while single travelers can choose from iconic Studio Staterooms, Solo Inside, Solo Oceanview, and Solo Balcony options, offering more space and affordable rates for solo travelers.

More Space for the Whole Family

Norwegian Aqua offers the Splash Academy for children aged 3 to 12 and NCL’s famous teen club for teenagers aged 13 to 17, ensuring fun activities for all. Guests looking to relax under the sun can enjoy the Norwegian Aqua’s infinity pool with more seating and sun loungers by the pool, a new addition to the NCL fleet.

An adults-only experience includes the Vibe Beach Club, providing more lounge seating. Outside, guests can spend their days exploring NCL’s most extensive Ocean Boulevard to date, an outdoor promenade that wraps around the entire ship, complete with Oceanwalk, a glass bridge; the Infinity Beach with spectacular views and private pools on either side of the ship, and La Terrazza, the outdoor lounge with a spectacular ocean view.

Exciting Sun-Filled Itineraries All Year Round

After a series of 7-day Caribbean voyages with stops at idyllic island destinations such as Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island in the Bahamas, Norwegian Aqua will offer 5 and 7-day cruises to Bermuda from New York City from August 2025 to October 2025. The ship will then embark on 5 and 7-day itineraries in the Eastern Caribbean from Miami, the “Cruise Capital of the World,” starting from October 2025 until April 2026.

“Norwegian Aqua is a testament to the fusion of what represents the future of our brand as the first ship of the Prima Plus Class, and our commitment to pushing the boundaries of guest-centric experiences,” said David J. Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line. “Named for the beautiful shades of blue of the ocean and our connection to the sea, Norwegian Aqua will introduce new, elevated, and thrilling offerings, once again highlighting NCL as an industry innovator and a key contributor to a new era of cruising.”

The collaboration with Fincantieri, which will build this new generation of Prima Plus Class ships, has already been confirmed. Norwegian Aqua, with a length of approximately 322 meters, 156,300 gross tons, and a capacity of 3,571 guests in double occupancy, will set new standards with around a 10% increase in size and capacity compared to its sister ships, offering more outdoor space and the highest number of crew ever seen on any new cruise ship. Additional new features of the Norwegian Aqua will be unveiled in the coming year.
