Swan Hellenic: Discovering Maris Cruises 2024

In collaboration with JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs, the organization of chefs under 40 with international awards and Michelin stars, Swan Hellenic aims to elevate the gastronomic experience on board with the Maris 2024 cruises.

Swan Hellenic’s cultural journeys have always stood out for the quality of visits, expert lessons from famous explorers, experienced expedition guides, and authorities in their respective fields.

With the advent of the year 2024, in a total series of 10 trips, various internationally renowned chefs will now be paired with the SH Diana and SH Vega ships to create a true culinary range. It will be a dual discovery, both from a landscape perspective (Arctic, Antarctic, Brazil, Argentina to Africa and Madagascar) and from a creative-culinary standpoint.

Andrea Zito, CEO of Swan Hellenic, stated: “Swan Hellenic and JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs are thrilled to announce this new Maris series for 2024, born from our uncompromising pursuit of sharing exceptional experiences.”

The Maris 2024 program will surprise and delight guests on board every evening with a different signature dish. The chefs’ greatest expression and passion will be revealed, particularly during the Gala dinner, using local, sustainable, and high-quality ingredients. Additionally, each chef will engage in a cooking show, revealing the secrets of their art and immersing themselves in onshore gastronomic excursions to discover local culinary specialties. All of this will take place in close contact with the guests who will have the opportunity to socialize with the chefs.

Moreover, there will be the possibility to combine two pairs of Maris 2024 series cruises (onboard SH Diana) to double the extraordinary culinary exploration journeys departing from Tromsø in July and from Lisbon in August.

Daniel Lehmann, President of JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs, declared: “We are immensely proud of all the talent that our partnership will offer to Swan Hellenic travelers in 2024, creating culinary experiences that complement and enhance their explorations on board and ashore.”

But who are these famous chefs? Let’s see them matched with the Maris 2024 cruises.
