Crystal Cruises, an American company based in Los Angeles, was transferred to Genting Hong Kong in 2015, after beginning operations in 1988 with the Crystal Harmony, which was retired from the fleet in 2005. In 2022, the Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group acquired the Crystal brand, relaunching its two flagship vessels, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony.
