Description

Emerald Destiny sails along the Rhine, Main, Danube, and Moselle rivers, and joined the Emerald Waterways fleet in 2017. With tasteful and modern décor visible throughout the ship, she features a three-level atrium that allows natural light to penetrate and illuminate the interior. At the rear of the Horizon Deck, there is a daytime pool and evening cinema. With a retractable roof, floor-to-ceiling windows, and perfect views, on select evenings the pool transforms into a movie theater, where a variety of blockbuster and classic films can be watched. < br> The Reflections restaurant on the Vista Deck is the centerpiece of the on-board dining experience, where large windows offer excellent views of the surrounding landscapes and regional and seasonal flavors can be enjoyed. For a more intimate experience, there is the contemporary Horizon Bar & Lounge, where entertainment will be available on select evenings. With more than ninety suites and cabins, the Emerald Destiny has much to offer in terms of comfort, with features that would be in line with those of a world-class hotel. < br> Giorgia Lombardo

Lovely River Cruise Experience with a Crew that Feels like Family

I liked

Danube River Cruise with a crew that feels like family, great food, and lovely modern rooms.

I didn't like

Can't think of anything!

Comment

Emerald Cruises remains a favorite of ours. The crew always feels like we're "coming home" to a fellow cruising family. The other guests are always lovely and we have great conversations the whole time. The casual attire with some nicer evenings (nicer being "business casual" kind of feel but you can dress up if you like without pressure of a "formal night") is perfect for us and we loved our itinerary. The fall weather was at its peak with the colors of the leaves - we lucked out. (We cruised the last week of October into the first days of November.)
