Description

Marella Dream is a ship rich in history. Born as Homeric of the famous Home Lines, it was then Westerdam for the Holland America Line. In 1990, it was lengthened by Meyer Werft and sailed for a long time for HAL. In 2002 it landed at Costa Crociere, where it sailed as Costa Europa until 2010 to become then Thomson Dream and finally Marella Dream.
Although the ship's structure is more than thirty years old, on board there are well-kept rooms and very liveable spaces. The exteriors are classic and elegant, with large sunbathing areas. The restaurant is divided between the main restaurant, one on the charter and the buffet on the Lido deck. Marella Dream offers informal cruises generally frequented by a British public.

La nave, già nel 2004, sembrava vecchia in confronto alle altre unità che si stavano aggiungendo alla flotta di Costa Crociere. La qualità in questa crociera di 6 giorni ricordo non essere stata all'altezza delle altre navi e delle altre crociere fatte in quel periodo. Non conosco gli interni attuali su Marella Dream, ma, pur antiquati, quelli del 2004 avevano il fascino delle navi di una volta, che davanti a tanta modernità attuale, sono sempre più rari sul mare.

Marella Dream nonostante gli anni alle spalle, si presenta agli ospiti con tutti i comfort, ben tenuta, con ampi saloni, connessione internet, piscina con copertura semovente, centro benessere, campo polisportivo
