Mitsui OSK is container shipping company that is one of the largest in the world. Mitsui OSK Passenger is the branch that manages their cruise business and currently operates with just the Nippon Maru.
The passengers are almost exclusively Japanese, as are the itineraries which are offered with Japanese home ports and national destinations with medium-short cruise lengths. The company offers an all-inclusive formula with the exception of alcohol, and the service is held to a very high standard with the resulting high prices.
