Insignia is the first R-Class ship built for Renaissance Cruises in 1998 and now part of Oceania Cruises' fleet. From 2012 to 2014 it was chartered by Hapag Lloyd Cruises under the name Columbus 2, before returning to the Oceania fleet. Together with Regatta it was the first ship with which the upper premium company founded in 2002 operated. In 2018 it completed a major refitting that brought it into line with the standards of the OceaniaNEXT Program.
Insignia's interiors are elegant and classic in style, and the service is very attentive. Gastronomy is as well known, the flagship of Oceania Cruises, as well as on Insignia two speciality restaurants offer recipes from all over the world served with elegance and meticulous attention to details.

Insigna in the Mediterranean
Food and crew
Another great experience with Oceania Cruises, our Mediterranean journey on the Insigna. Once again lovely food, friendly crew, and a wonderful itinerary in the Western Mediterranean. Defenitely one of the best cruise lines ever tried.
