Iona: A Fascinating Journey Through the Norwegian Fjords

Comment

My cruise aboard the Iona was a wonderful experience, taking me to discover some of Norway's most spectacular landscapes, with stops in Andalsnes, Tromsø, Alta, and Stavanger. The journey offered a good balance between sailing and shore excursions. The Iona is modern, spacious, and well-designed, with elegant interiors and large outdoor decks to enjoy the scenery. The cabin was comfortable and bright, while the common areas were cozy and relaxed. The cuisine was varied and satisfying, with main restaurants offering tasty dishes and some more exclusive themed restaurants, like Sindhu. The service was generally good, although at times a little slow during peak hours. In conclusion, the Iona provides a pleasant and well-balanced experience, with a fascinating itinerary and service that, while not extraordinary, met expectations.

Iona is a beautiful ship, very innovative and full of entertainment and things to do, especially for families with children like ours. We had a very spacious balcony cabin, always perfectly clean and tidy by the crew. Dining options are excellent everywhere, and we tried almost all the restaurants on board. There is an atmosphere of familiarity and courtesy from all the crew. Truly a very good experience.
