Just imagine yourself living on an incredible Yacht with all types of services and amenities at your disposal, in refined yet accessible surroundings, sailing to unique destinations around the world. Le Lapérouse, a new addition to the Ponant fleet, is all this and much more. It is truly a gem and perfect for travelling to fantastic locations on board an elegant modern ship where you will immediately feel at home.

The ship’s capacity is just under 200 passengers housed in 92 cabins spread over 6 decks. These numbers actually make the Le Lapérouse a small ship according to modern standards but nonetheless it is equipped with special attractions. The first of these is the spectacular Marina with its three diverse modes of operation where the height is adjusted accordingly to the use of Zodiacs, kayaks or paddleboards.

Going up to Deck 2 from the Marina, you will find the beautiful Infinity Pool. It is located at the stern, at the end of the outdoor Grill area where you can savor a variety of specialties.  At the outdoor bar, you can enjoy a coffee or a pre-dinner drink. Going inside past the Grill area you will find the Grand Salon, the heart of the Le Lapérouse, the place to be day or night, whether you’re having breakfast, with coffee available round the clock, or a pre- or after-dinner drink, with a piano there for live entertainment. The style is quite simple yet elegant inspired by pleasant Nordic themes.

Going along Deck 2 towards the center of the ship you will find a well-stocked fine clothing shop, and further along the Reception Desk and the Excursions Office. From here, you will come across a number of cabins and past these, there is the Medical Centre and the theatre, Théâtre, which is also simple yet elegant in style and can accommodate all the passengers at one time.

Aft of Deck 4 is home to the Restaurant, a very modern yet refined dining venue with quite a fascinating mise en place. Reservations are not necessary and there are a few tables set up outdoors as well. The central part and bow area of this deck are reserved for passenger cabins. Deck 5 also houses cabins and the Command Bridge.

Mid-ship on Deck 6 you will find a small art gallery, Gallerie d’Art, with an area reserved for Photos and Videos. At aft end, there is the Salon Observatoire, one of the most relaxing areas on the ship with great lighting and ocean views, comfortable armchairs when one can snuggle up to read, and a wall of decidedly exotic books and furnishings.

Deck 7 is the highest of the decks and there you will find the Spa and a small Fitness area equipped with treadmills and stationary bikes. A small Solarium is located at stern end complete with sunbeds and lounge chairs for sunbathing or relaxing outdoors.

The Le Lapérouse has only balcony cabins, with elegant furnishings where attention has been paid to even the tiniest detail. Whether it is the Deluxe or Grand Deluxe Suite, the Prestige or the Privilege Suites, or the incredible Suite dell’Armateur with its incredible spacious balcony that opens up at the stern, all the on-board accommodations offer great comfort and services of the utmost quality.

The Le Lapérouse, in perfect harmony with the Ponant fleet, offers cruises in a refined and elegant setting, where the style is modern, bright and intentionally simple yet decidedly tasteful. The size of the ship and the attention paid to each and every detail will assure a unique Ponant-cruise experience enhanced by off-the-beaten-track itineraries rarely chosen by the larger cruise ships.
