Description

A prototype of the Voyager of the Seas class, Voyager of the Seas has spacious hotel areas on several decks and large bathing areas. At the heart of life on board is the splendid Royal Promenade which most of the interior cabins overlook.
Recently, Royal Caribbean International's ship has undergone an intensive refit that has brought with it a greater number of cabins and new public areas and attractions. One of these is the spectacular ice rink, which has been in place since the ship's inception, when it could boast the title of the world's largest cruise ship.

Cruise number 51 RCCL cruise ship - Voyager Of The Seas 22nd October - 27th October 2018 Cabin number : 8568.- midship , Deck 8 - Balcony Cabin Total pax : 3282 , Crew : 1180: Decks :15 Cruise for 5 nights Excursion selection is vast , however a lot of time is wasted due to excursion transfers taking more than 2 to 3 hours there and the same back with little time spent on site. Best to book independently excursions in Singapore. Checking in with so many passengers is slow but yet if in Balcony or suites it does go a ,lot faster through fast track. On board, housekeeping , room service , dining room service all of good standard. However the constant sales of beverage packages and specialist dining options does get to much . After all on holiday not to be sales harassed. Ship is in need of refit rusting evident on balcony's and external on ship. This being my second cruise on Voyager nothing really has change

I liked

Staff, food, cafe promenade

I didn't like

Small public spaces. Small Solarium area. Music too loud in bars, limits conversation

Comment

Promenade area is nice but when Zumba, shop sales on at same time it was really congested. Couldn't access Cafe Promenade to get a coffee as Zumba people blocking access. Schooner Bar much smaller than other ships, unable to get a seat most times, music in bars and around pool way too loud to the point that conversation is impossible when with staff, ordering drinks, getting a towel etc. One day we had to sit in our cabin as no space at pools and bars full too. Lots of passengers, not enough public space
