The second luxury ship built for Silversea Cruises, Silver Wind, capable of accommodating 296 passengers, made its debut in 1995. The 2008 refit introduced the Observation Lounge and expanded the Spa. Renovated again in 2013, it has achieved the prestige of obtaining a Relais & Châteaux restaurant. Ho conosciuto Wind prima del refitting. La nave era in buone condizioni di manutenzione anche se la struttura è naturalmente quella di una generazione ben diversa dalle attuali. Molto elegante e curata, servizio maniacale verso il cliente, cabine pulite e spaziose, anche quelle con finestra. La qualità della gastronomia, seppur valida, si è dimostrata al di sotto delle mie aspettative, soprattutto dopo aver conosciuto quella, ben diversa, di Silver Spirit. Cantina eccezionale, all inclusive molto valido. Un'esperienza da ripetere e da consigliare, a meno che si soffra il mare, la nave ha dimostrato poca stabilità anche con mare piuttosto calmo.

Prima crociera Silversea nel lontano ormai 2011. Grande ricordo di soddisfazione, di cura del servizio, di cene fantastiche. E' una compagnia veramente eccellente dove senz'altro mi piacerebbe presto tornare.
