SuperStar Gemini is a cruise ship in service for Star Cruises. It was built in 1992 in the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyards in Saint-Nazaire, France, and first sailed as the MS Dreamward for Norwegian Cruise Line. In 1998 is was lengthened by Lloyd Werft in Bremerhaven, Germany, and re-baptized as the Norwegian Dream. At the end of 2012, it was finally transferred to the Star Cruises fleet and re-baptized again as the SuperStar Gemini.
With 11 dining areas that serve international cuisine, multiple sports facilities, among them two swimming pools and a wellness center, the King Neptune, which offers thermal treatments, massages and reflexology. The SuperStar Gemini has two pools for adults, a children’s pool, on outside whirlpool hot tub and a jogging track.
